Unsung Accomplishments — Sidelights of Maintenance Bid of 191 Lifts in Shanyun Garden

At the end of November 2014, Wuxi Shanyun Garden Maintenance Bid was officially announced online. Words such as 191 sets and three-year maintenance reflects that it is large-scale maintenance bid inviting unusual not only in Wuxi but even all over the country. Symax Maintenance Department is faced with the largest challenge since its establishment.
As for Shanyun Garden, due to various reasons, we had no advantage in price, was experiencing personnel changes in customer relations, had no similar projects in performance over the years, and were faced with local and remote big brand maintenance competitors with ambition…
In the face of the competitors determined to win, colleagues of Shanyun Garden Project Team of Symax Maintenance Department did not give up. They carefully researched every competitor’s advantages and disadvantages, and simulated corresponding mode of bid scheme according to every competitor’s characteristics; repeatedly discussed bid inviting scoring rules, made analysis of gain and loss of every 1 or 0.5 point, and adjusted relevant documents; mobilized the staff of Engineering Center, and simultaneously modified and perfected bid documents over and over again with the aid of other brands’ maintenance bid documents. During all of such actions, they did not make widely known, display difficulties or require conditions, but only silently made preparation and made their best efforts.
